Our Values
At the heart of everything we do here at Callen-Lenz is a commitment to push boundaries within innovation, act with integrity, work collaboratively with purpose, and strive for excellence in every outcome. These values sit as the foundation of our culture and are the driving force for all our colleagues.
Our Story
Our Journey Began
Founded in 2007, our roots sit within aviation consultancy. Our early focus was the commissioning and management of uncrewed flight operations services. The founders and senior team brought a wealth of crewed aviation experience as aircrew, engineers, and innovators.
Breakthrough Technology
In 2010, Callen-Lenz became a world leader in the breakthrough technology of drone-based photogrammetric data capture. This pioneering remote sensing service used in-house designed aircraft with to fly over forests and crops gathering 3D and multispectral data.
SkyCircuits
In 2013, we acquired SkyCircuits. SkyCircuits develop high-integrity autopilots for use in crewed and uncrewed systems. Since 2013, the SC2 has architecturally evolved, leading to the design and manufacture of the SC3 in 2019, a more powerful and sophisticated autopilot.
Koios
In 2019, Callen-Lenz started the design, development, and manufacture of our key UAS platform, Koios, in our Wiltshire-based UK facility. Koios is a medium VTOL UAS which offers fully autonomous operations providing strategic ISR capabilities with a tactical footprint.
Our Journey Continues
Having grown our teams significantly to over 250 employees we continue to be the UK-based leader in design, development and testing of next generation UAS.

-
I enjoy working at Callen-Lenz as it is a dynamic fast-paced work environment that complements my working style. In the engineering domain, there are plenty of challenging problems that we get to work through and given the small size of my team, this comes with a great deal of responsibility and ownership of the work that I get to produce.
Software Engineer
-
Callen Lenz have supported my career development through regular reviews with my line manager, plenty of on-the-job training, paying for my professional registration and by enrolling me on an apprenticeship on Operational Management.
Emma, Systems Engineering Team Lead
